Animalistic is a true red, Meep-Meep-Meep is a deep fuchsia, Wocka Wocka! Is a deep berry, Pepe’s Purple Passion is an intense purple, Designer de Better! is a very light bronze, and Warm & Fozzie is a cozy copper. The glitter shades were definitely made for the holiday party season. Rainbow Connection is as its name implies – pure rainbow glitter. Excuse Moi! is a deep, girly pink, while Gone Gonzo! is a fun, sparkly aqua. Fresh Frog of Bel Air is a pop of cheery green, Divine Swine is magenta with silver shimmer, and Gettin’ Miss Piggy With It! is a fun red. These lacquers will go great with your festive outfits this holiday season, and give you a dose of childhood nostalgia to boot. Is Hello Kitty too sweet for your blood? Well she’s actually gotten a little tough! The Sephora makeup collection featuring the iconic cat just got a dose of urban with the new Graffiti collection. Based on LA street art, five makeup products got the graffiti treatment, with packaging that’s adorable and tough at the same time. There’s a two-tier eyeshadow and blush palette, a roller fragrance, a five-piece brush set, a makeup bag, and a compact mirror. In any case, it’s a real fun way to update your makeup stash. Watch out for the release of the Graffiti collection on Sephora on July 28.

Pink is usually associated with sugar and spice and everything nice. It’s sweet and romantic, dainty and pretty, but can it also be edgy? OPI says it can. The nail polish company has come up with Pink Shatter – a deliciously pink lacquer that, as its name indicates, shatters as it dries. OPI already has several Shatter colors out in shades of black, blue, silver, red, and others, but now they’re delving into more delicate colors. The limited edition Pink Shatter is a true pink – not too light and not too dark. It will look fantastic on top of black nail polish, making it perfect for days when you want to be feminine, but also show a hint of your inner bad girl.

Pink Shatter is also the 2011 edition of OPI Pink of Hearts nail lacquers, which are made to support breast cancer awareness. Each bottle of it has a pink-ribbon tag and a pink cap to symbolize the cause. OPI will also be making its annual donation of $25,000 to Susan G. Komen for the Cure – the world’s largest organization dedicated to the fight against breast cancer. This polish is for the rebels with a cause.

Pink Shatter will be out in September and will be available until October. Look for it in professional salons as well as Beauty Brands, Beauty First, Chatters, Dillard’s, JCPenney, Pure Beauty, Regis, Trade Secret, and ULTA at $8.50 a pop.

Nicole by OPI suggests using their Base Coat Plus first on your nails. Then, put on two coats of the nail polish of your choice and let it dry completely. After that, swipe on Texture Coat, and then finish off with Top Coat if you want shiny color. Intrigued? Texture Coat will be out in stores by July.

Black Shatter was such a hit that OPI has decided to come out with other Shatter colors. Three new shades will soon be out in stores – Blue Shatter, Navy Shatter and Turquoise Shatter – that will surely add a new dimension to your summer looks. Put them over white polish and you’ll get instant nautical edge. These Shatter colors set to come out in May.
