Fashion Extra: Lindsay Lohan's LBD fails to impress in court

Walking hand in hand with her mom Dina, Lindsay Lohan was spotted leaving the LAX Courthouse wearing a little black dress from Chanel and a killer pair of Christian Louboutin platform shoes.

The Liz & Dick star is being tried for lying to and obstructing police officers, as well as driving recklessly. Those are not accusations her new lawyer Mark Heller can’t handle! What he probably couldn’t handle, though, is his client’s fashion sense.

Sure, going to court with the possibility of being acquitted or convicted can be pretty nerve-wracking. However, that’s an excuse fashion critics cannot accept.

While her black-and-white printed Louboutin heels are glamorous, they just didn’t go well with the actress’ overall aura. The cap sleeves of LiLo’s LBD showed her uneven tan. Meanwhile, we couldn’t tell if she just didn’t know where to put — or how to wear — the long necklaces that were hiding under her dress. Even a pair of fancy Céline sunglasses couldn’t distract from her tired face and messy hair.

LiLo’s life may have been on a downward spiral, but we still wish her good luck — legally and sartorially.
