Soda Pop: Breakup Alert – Liberty Ross and Rupert Sanders

The day has come for this couple to go their separate ways. Reports have said that on Friday (January 25), Liberty Ross headed to Los Angeles County Superior Court to file for divorce from Rupert Sanders after being married since 2002.

“She wasn’t very happy, even before all this happened,” an informant told Us Weekly. “Rupert put a lot of pressure on her to change her life for him and they moved to L.A. for him. She was such a big deal in England – a bigger deal than him even.”

Despite the drama in their relationship, the source was certain that they did love each other and tried to give their marriage another try. However, Liberty was “just so angry” over Rupert’s scandalous infidelity with Kristen Stewart six months ago. “She’s the kind of person who wouldn’t really ever get over it,” the source added.

Even though the ex-couple is keeping mum about the issue, the British beauty reportedly cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their breakup. The 34-year-old model is seeking spousal support and attorney’s fees from the Snow White and the Huntsman director. Meanwhile, both have filed for joint custody of their kids – 7-year-old Skyla and 5-year-old Tennyson.

Two days after filing for divorce, Liberty was spotted in L.A. looking very chic in a black-and-white ensemble sans her wedding ring.

Despite this nerve-wracking incident in their lives, we hope everything goes well for these and that they remain amicable once the divorce is finalized.
