Soda Shop: Enchanting PalettesPosted by Stella Lee on January 28, 2013 under Beauty,Soda Shop (Beauty)
Have you had enough of celebrity-inspired palettes yet? Last year, MAC channeled Marilyn Monroe in a makeup set while NARS took inspiration from Andy Warhol. This year, Urban Decay is kicking off something new in beauty. The brand is proudly presenting two new eye palettes that were inspired by the new Disney movie, Oz the Great and the Powerful.
Both palettes comprise of eight exclusive eyeshadows infused with the brand’s Pigment Infusion System, which gives the shade a smoother texture, richer color, and lasting staying power.
Packed with dazzling dark shades, ranging from pale cream satin to deep charcoal brown satin, is The Theodora Palette. It also has a Glide on Eye Pencil in Zero (black) and a Super-Saturated High Gloss Color in Theodora (bright red cream) that you can use to perfect Theodora’s edgy yet enthralling look. This palette is a definite must-have for ladies who are into dark and moody colors.
Meanwhile, The Glinda Palette is the perfect eye makeup for those who seek something feminine. This palette offers lovely eye colors — from vibrant deep purple to pale peach satin — that will allow you to channel your inner Glinda. Just like the other palette, this one has a Glide on Eye Pencil in Rockstar (deep eggplant) and a Super Saturated High Gloss Color in Glinda (light sheer nude) for a complete mesmerizing look.
These coveted palettes come with a step-by-step makeup manual to help you perfect the looks of the female characters from the fantasy film. Retailing for $49 each at Sephora, these palettes should be the new addition to your makeup collection. You might want to hurry since they are being sold for a limited time only.
