Beauty Extra: Lady Gaga debuts Fame at Harrods

There was no bizarre costume at the launch of Lady Gaga’s fragrance at Harrods in London on October 7. The Born this Way singer set aside all sense of eccentricity and opted for a stylish black body-con gown. Lady Gaga’s penchant for excessiveness however, was reflected in her ornate hand jewelry.

Fans waited for the Mother Monster but were disappointed when she arrived late for the event. The songstress was supposed to arrive in Knightsbridge at 7:30 but turned up in a horse carriage an hour later than scheduled.

Besides showing up late, Lady Gaga also let down some of her Little Monsters when she refused to walk the black carpet, where fans had been patiently waiting for three hours just to catch a glimpse of her. Instead, she went straight inside the store to meet around 75 lucky fans.

Fame is the first black-colored perfume that sprays clear.
