Soda Pop: Nicki Minaj to Mariah Carey: "I'm gonna knock you out!"

The claws are out! A video of Nicki Minaj ranting about Mariah Carey was released online after the two got into a heated argument on the set of American Idol in North Carolina on October 2, Tuesday.

In the short clip originally posted by TMZ, Nicki looked visibly enraged as she shouts, “I told them I’m not f – putting up with her f – highness over there.” Meanwhile, Mariah managed to throw in a verbal jab at Nicki saying, “Oh why? Why do I have a three-year-old sitting around me?”

Other reports allege that the eccentric rapper also told Mariah, “I’m gonna knock you out!” even before the commotion was videotaped.

Commenting on the nasty dispute, Mariah’s husband Nick Cannon told Hollywood Access that his wife is the strongest and classiest woman he has ever met. “If you watch the video, she just maintains her composure. I don’t think she’s moved by the theatrics and pageantry of it all,” added Nick.

Earlier today, Idol host Ryan Seacrest took to his radio show to confirm the altercation. “Yesterday it got heated. It was intense I’ll be honest with you,” said Ryan.
