Stars turned up the style dial at this year’s ALMA Awards held at Pasadena Civic Auditorium in California on September 16. Dazzling dresses and breathtaking gowns served up a sartorial storm of some sort, creating one amazing red carpet scene. To find out who made the the cut in our red carpet roundup, check out the list below:
Eva Longoria looked ravishing in an exquisite Monique Lhuillier dress that she paired with an equally stylish pair of Tom Ford heels. With her hair gathered in a bun, the actress effortlessly showed off her gorgeous Martin Katz earrings.
Besides nabbing the Favorite Movie Actress: Drama/Adventure award for her movie Colombiana, Zoe Saldana stole our hearts in this Gucci gown that had a dangerously low neckline.
Looking hot yet scruffy was Jake Gyllenhaal, who wore a navy blue shirt underneath a black suit. It was simple alright, but still very dapper.
Christina Aguilera showed off her curves in a black Michael Kors dress that she accessorized with Christian Louboutin shoes and a Judith Leiber clutch. Her Neil Lane jewels were perfect but her purple-dyed blonde hair was out of place.
Socialite-turned-fashion-maven Nicole Richie was sexy in a revealing Mathieu Mirano dress. The busy frock, which offered a medley of sheer cutouts and sequins, found the perfect accessory in a House of Harlow clutch.
Favorite Movie Actor for Rock of Ages winner Diego Boneta was head-to-toe sharp in a classic tuxedo.
Naya Rivera’s refreshingly bold ensemble was one look that truly earned our applause. She wore a fashion-forward Dolce & Gabbana suit and accessorized with Dana Rebecca Designs earrings. Besides her sartorial win, she took home the awards for Favorite Female Music Artist and Favorite TV Comedy Actress.
America Ferrera kept it elegant in a navy blue Carlos Miele gown. She may have played matchy-matchy in choosing blue jewels from Lorraine Schwartz, but her coral lips made for a stunning contrast.
