TV Tonic: America’s Next Top Model Cycle 19 Premiere

“Only one can be top of the class.” The new catch phrase couldn’t be more interesting. America’s Next Top Model’s newest season had its first look at the Tribeca Grand Hotel in New York City last August 22, and it’s looking to be yet another wild season.

Judges – old and new – were fashionably present at the event including the show’s creator and host, Tyra Banks. Clad in a black Roberto Cavalli dress and stilettos, the former Victoria’s Secret model worked it in front of the cameras as she smiled with her eyes or what she calls ‘smize’.

The show had a total makeover with new judges including British model Rob Evans and fashion blogger Bryanboy. They will join Tyra and fashion publicist Kelly Cutrone in evaluating the 13 fashion model aspirants as they battle it out. Too bad we won’t be seeing Nigel Barker, Jay Manuel, and J. Alexander anymore but it’s going to be more exciting since Katy Perry’s stylist Johnny Wujek joins the gang as the creative director of photo shoots.

America’s Next Top Model Cycle 19: College Edition turned in a new way of eliminating contestants too.
