Soda Pop: Is Taylor Swift a wedding crasher?

The only wedding crashers we know are Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn (from the film Wedding Crashers, obviously), but it seems like Taylor Swift might join the club. The country singer was called a ‘wedding crasher’ when she went to Kyle Kennedy’s wedding last Saturday – uninvited.

Today host Kathie Lee Gifford confirmed that the Love Story songstress, indeed, crashed the ceremony with her new boyfriend and cousin to the bride, Conor Kennedy. “I was out in the hallway, she was waiting, standing around, and he came out, took her by the hand and they left,” Kathie told Today.

It was reported that 18-year-old Conor failed to RSVP until he sent a text message to Victoria Gifford Kennedy, Kyle’s mother, before the wedding took place. He supposedly asked if he could bring his girlfriend but the bride’s mother asked him nicely, “Please do not come.”

The TV host also said that Victoria was concerned Taylor would get all the attention that was intended for the bride. Contrary to the allegations, a post by Kathie Lee & Hoda blog said that Taylor’s spokeswoman Paula Erickson denied the report saying, “Taylor was invited to the wedding and the bride thanked her profusely for being there.”
