Posted by Alex Lagman on August 24, 2012 under Fashion,Fashion ExtraDavid Beckham’s statues became a hot topic last week and now fashion retailer H&M is making headlines – again. The company has announced that it will open another store – its largest to date – on the corner of Fifth Avenue and 48th Street in Manhattan, New York City next year.
According to Women’s Wear Daily, the six-story, 57,000-square-foot setting will feature the label’s ready-to-wear items, including sportswear and lingerie as well as its cosmetics and houseware collections.
H&M US president Daniel Kulle says, “H&M believes strongly in the New York City market. This new H&M flagship location will stand out amongst our already impressive group of stores that cover the New York City landscape and will for sure be a destination on Fifth Avenue, a world famous and historic thoroughfare.”
The Swedish retail clothing company’s biggest store at the moment is located in the City of Lights – Las Vegas, Nevada.
