Beauty Extra: Katy Perry goes black and white for ghd

She put aside her candy-colored costume for an elegant turn on print. Katy Perry shone in black and white for ghd’s newest ad campaign. The candid photos – shot by famed fashion photographer Ellen Von Unwerth – show the 27-year-old singer’s natural beauty in minimal accessories.

In one photo, Katy can be seen wearing an embellished long-sleeved dress, with her hair kept in a low side bun. The second photo shows the Part of Me hitmaker in a silk top with a low neckline, while her mane was beautifully styled in some curls. Her black eyeliner complemented her porcelain-looking skin and made her eyes look tantalizing.

According to ghd, “The campaign is all about showing the confidence that a good hair day can bring.” Stylist Danilo was the one responsible for Katy’s glamorous hairstyles. He styled her black locks using ghd stylers, new ghd air hairdryer, ghd brushes, and ghd style products.
