Music Mix: Carrie Underwood shines at the Today Show

She knows how to work it on stage – in super shorts. Carrie Underwood put on a sexy performance to the delight of ecstatic fans at NBC’s Today Show last August 15 at the Rockefeller Plaza in New York City.

The American Idol season four winner was clad in a brooch-embellished Alice and Olivia long-sleeve top. She flashed her shapely legs in decorated 7 for All Mankind shorts, and topped it all off with  iridescent Brian Atwood ankle-strap booties.

Carrie performed Good Girl and Blown Away – her newest single from the same-titled album she is promoting. She later tweeted, “Had so much fun on the @todayshow! Thanks to all who came out! You guys were awesome!” Before stirring the Upper East Side, she told her Twitter followers that she woke up at two-thirty in the morning and that it was all worth it for the Today Show.

The 29-year-old country singer is living the married life with 32-year-old NHL player Mike Fisher. The two tied the knot on July 10, 2010 in Greensboro, Georgia where more than 250 people came as guests.
