Film Flavor: The Expendables 2 UK Premiere

The mercenaries have reported for duty. Guys in actual military uniforms joined the star-studded red carpet UK premiere of The Expendables 2 at Empire, Leicester Square in London last August 13.

The Expendables’ leader, Sylvester Stallone, arrived with his wife Jennifer Flavin and daughters Sophia, Sistine, and Scarlet Stallone. The 66-year-old actor looked classy in a white polo underneath the usual black coat and pants, topped with a green tie. His ladies kept it simple yet elegant in black dresses, while little Scarlet dazzled in a pink floral dress.

Arnold Schwarzenegger seemed to have fun around the men in military suits as he laughed with them while camera bulb flashed all around. According to the Terminator, he is just very happy that he’s back in the movie business.

Jason Statham – who plays the group’s knife expert Lee Christmas – showed up in a grey suit, which he wore on top of a black polo, while co-star Dolph Lundgren posed with the band of soldiers on the red carpet. Jean-Claude Van Damme also had fun with the mercenary guests as he playfully posed a la Bruce Lee in his black and white outfit.

Other celebrities who graced the premiere night were English socialite Lady Victoria Hervey, actress Kelsey-Beth Crossley, and Francesca Hull. The Expendables 2, which also stars Jet Li, Chuck Norris, Bruce Willis, Randy Couture, and Liam Hemsworth will hit theaters on August 17.
