Music Mix: Taylor Swift announces new album

Swifties, you can’t go blue with this. Taylor Swift, shared some details on her upcoming album Red through a live YouTube chat with some of her fans last August 13.

According to the 22-year-old songstress, she wrote a song of the same name, which talks about different emotions she felt in her past relationships, which she described as “tumultuous, crazy, insane, intense, and semi-toxic.”

When asked about her inspiration for songwriting, Taylor answered, “I tend to skew in the direction of writing songs about love-related things, relationship- and feeling-related things, that’s where I naturally go.”

The Love Story hitmaker also hinted to her ecstatic fans that she – together with her team – are working hard in planning the next world tour. She ended the live chat with her album’s single, We Are Never Ever Ever Getting Back Together. Her much-awaited album will be released on October 22.
