Fashion Extra: Rachel Berry’s geek-chic fashion sense

We may not get her not-so-pleasing attitude sometimes, but we surely enjoy Rachel Berry’s taste when it comes to dressing up herself. Lea Michele – who plays the diva Rachel on the hit TV series Glee – had a busy weekend in Manhattan, New York, where she filmed a few scenes for the show’s upcoming season.

Lea had a couple of costume changes, starting off with a scene where she wore black and white shorts, a black sweater, and knee high boots. She was seen  jumping around Big Apple alongside co-star Dean Geyer.

The 25-year-old actress then changed into a smarter look that included a black turtle-neck top, brown skirt with a gold chain belt, and a black beret. Instead of walking heels, Lea opted for a pair of flat shoes embellished with ribbons keeping her knee-high socks on.

Continuing on her scenes, Lea went from dark darling to bright belle when she swapped her dark top and beret with a white long-sleeved top and a woolly yellow hat. She was a bit formal with her burgundy skirt, dark brown stockings, and a pair of shoes with stacked heels. Her ombre-dyed hair was kept in a braid that’s so trendy this approaching season.

There’s another scene where she let her locks down. This time, she mixed black with summer colors to add a youthful vibe to Rachel Berry’s cheerful attitude. She sported a black and white long-sleeved top with a dash of light green that matched her still, knee-high socks.
