Soda Pop: Kristen Stewart issues public apology to Robert Pattinson

It was indeed a heartbreaking story for Edward and Bella fans. Kristen Stewart has issued a public apology to boyfriend Robert Pattinson after news of her alleged affair with Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders came to light.

“I’m deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I’ve caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I’m so sorry,” the 22-year-old actress said in a statement to People last Wednesday.

Photos of Kristen and Rupert having some “sweet” moments emerged and were published on Us Weekly magazine. One photo shows Rupert with his arms around Kristen and appears to be kissing her right ear.

The 41-year-old film maker also apologized to his family for such actions saying, “I am utterly distraught about the pain I have caused my family. My beautiful wife and heavenly children are all I have in this world. I love them with all my heart. I am praying that we can get through this together.”

Rupert is married to British model Liberty Ross and they have two kids. Coincidentally, Liberty also appeared in the Snow White and the Huntsman movie where she played Kristen’s mother, Queen Eleanor. Unfortunately, she deactivated her Twitter account after the news broke.

Meanwhile, Robert Pattinson is keeping mum on the issue. According to reports, he doesn’t want to say anything in public until he figures out what to do. Surprisingly, Rob has talked about cheating in the April issue of Italian Vanity Fair. “Why do people cheat? I can understand the impulse, but not how you can keep two relationships going at the same time for long,” he said.
