Music Mix: Hot Chelle Rae sizzles in New York City
Posted by Madeleine York on July 23, 2012 under Entertainment,Music MixIt’s raining hotties! Hot Chelle Rae kept it cool when they rocked NBC’s The Today Show at Rockefeller Plaza in New York City last July 20. The quartet’s taped performance was postponed in showing though, after The Dark Knight Rises shooting in Aurora, Colorado.
“Thank you so much to everyone that came out today. Unbelievable turn out, We (sic) would have met you all, but they made us stop due to weather and safety. I am floored. All thoughts and prayers are with the families that fell victim to the inhumane acts of this mornings (sic) shooting. Won’t be thinking of anyone else,” band member Ryan Follese tweeted via the band’s account.
Hot Chelle Rae was formed in Nashville, Tennessee back in 2005 with Ryan Follese (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Ian Keggy (bass guitar), Nash Overstreet (lead guitar), and Jamie Follese (drums). Their single Tonight Tonight reached number 7 on the Billboard Hot 100 in July 2011 and their latest record Whatever was released this month. The band went with Taylor Swift’s Speak Now tour and this summer, they will be gracing Demi Lovato’s concert tour.
