Gotham City has never been this stylish – until now, that is. Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, and Gary Oldman impressed spectators when they walked on the red carpet for the premiere of the Dark Knight Rises at AMC Lincoln Square Theater in New York on Monday night.

Christian Bale, who played the rich hero Bruce Wayne – also known as Batman – was clad in a classic coat and tie with a messy hairdo. The actor is saying goodbye to the Batman costume since this will be the last installment of the Christopher Nolan trilogy.

Anne Hathaway abandoned the black cat suit and decided to go for this white Prabal Gurung gown from its Resort 2013 Collection. The trendy peplum gave a sweet taste to the sexy plunging neckline that is embellished with a sparkly corset. She kept her look very elegant with diamond-stud earrings and a silver bracelet. The pink lipstick she wore highlighted her gorgeous full lips.

Gary Oldman went classy by wearing a brown coat over a blue long-sleeved polo and a striped necktie. He finished the look with a pair of brown Oxfords. Meanwhile, Tom Hardy, who played Bane in the film, wore the classic coat and tie with brushed-up hair.

Among the celebrities who graced the world premiere were Tom Hardy, Morgan Freeman, Marion Cotillard, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Cillian Murphy, Zoe Kravitz, and Michelle Trachtenberg. Dark Knight Rises comes to life again on Friday, July 20.
