Music Mix: No Doubt is backPosted by Madeleine York on July 17, 2012 under Entertainment,Music Mix
There is no doubt that they can still rock it out even after a break of more than ten years. American rock band No Doubt is back with a brand new album called Push and Shove that will be released on September 25. The music video of the album’s lead track Settle Down has just been uploaded online and it will surely take you back in the 90s, when they rose to fame. It features the band members as truck drivers that steer their big wheels for a grand reunion. In an interview with Rolling Stone, the music video’s director Sophie Miller said that they “tried to do something that resembled different parts of the world rather than a specific place.”
No Doubt was formed in 1986 with members Gwen Stefani (vocalist), Tom Dumont (guitarist and keyboardist), Tony Kanal (bassist and keyboardist), and Adrian Young (drummer). Their ska sound wasn’t enough to attract fans but when they released Don’t Speak, which the band is most famous for, it spent 16 weeks at the top spot on the Bilboard Hot 100 Airplay.
