Fashion Extra: Breathtaking Supermodels at the 2012 Spring Dinner Dance

It’s always a good thing when models get to come out and play. The 9th Annual Spring Dinner Dance New Year’s in April: A Fool’s Fete was one such event – models flocked to the gala in their best finery. The supermodels stole the spotlight of course, daring to wear the most attention-grabbing gowns. Coco Rocha, Erin Featherton, and Crystal Renn were the ones who really went for it with their sartorial choices.
Coco Rocha was the belle of the ball in a spectacular Zac Posen tulle gown. She blogged that she felt like spring personified in the dress, and she did! She actually looked like a beautiful woodland fairy in it, with its sheer butterfly sleeves, delicate embroidery, and cascading short train.

Erin Heatherton chose to go subtly sexy in a yellow Carolina Herrera gown. It had sheer panels with a sort of Aztec print on them, which made the dress a little ethnic and a little tough. It had a strong Amazonian vibe to it, but was feminine and summery at the same time.

Crystal Renn went edgy with an army green Zac Posen dress. It had a textured bottom and panels that showed off her figure. She wore it with lots of attitude too, which took the outfit to a whole other level.
