Soda Pop Guy Watching Time – Eric Schiffer at the Grammys and After-Party

Eric Schiffer always has a packed schedule, but he recently found the time to attend the 2012 Grammy Awards. The business mogul and purveyor of the arts made an appearance in support of the music industry, and like the other attendees, he was also saddened by the loss of Whitney Houston.

“What was intended to be a celebration of the music industry became a celebration of the life of Whitney Houston, and what she meant to the industry. That kind of talent comes around once in a lifetime, which must have been a very isolating experience. She may have left us far too soon, but it is clear to hear the influence she had on all those who came after her,” Eric said.

Although Whitney’s passing gave the awards a somber mood, a lot of the stars decided to celebrate life afterwards, and Eric was one of them. He joined celebrities Wilmer Valderrama, Busta Rhymes, Jenny McCarthy, Paris Hilton, and Sebastian Bach at Diddy’s post-awards party. It was all about life indeed, as the admission ranged from $40,000 to $50,000, with the proceeds going to the Angelwish Foundation, which grants wishes to children afflicted by HIV/AIDS and other chronic illnesses.
