Girl Crush of the Moment: Rooney Mara in avant-garde white

Ever since the first glimpse of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo movie came out, Rooney Mara has had everyone transfixed. Vogue even chose her as the magazine’s cover girl for November, and critical praise for her acting in the movie is already trickling in.

The actress has proven herself to be even more fascinating at the film’s world premiere in London, UK. She turned up at the event in an incredibly avant-garde look. She wore a white Givenchy Couture gown with a dramatic silhouette and eclectic cuts, and she wore her black hair in a bowl cut highlighted with nude makeup. White gowns tend to look bridal, but it definitely wasn’t that with edgy Rooney. She has clearly chosen the fashion-forward route, and it’s perfect for her.
