Bubbling Up: Muppet-loving with OPI

No one’s ever too old for The Muppets. OPI definitely thinks so, because the company is coming out with a nail polish line inspired by the upcoming Disney movie. Disney’s The Muppets will be hitting the screen on November 23, and the lacquer collection will be out in stores by November as well. OPI’s Executive VP and Artistic Director, Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, was inspired by the film’s colourful cast of characters, which includes muppets Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy, and also Jason Segel and Amy Adams.
Made with the holiday season in mind, the collection has six shimmery neutral and red colors, plus six glitter shades. The cream shades are perfect for fall. Animalistic is a true red, Meep-Meep-Meep is a deep fuchsia, Wocka Wocka! Is a deep berry, Pepe’s Purple Passion is an intense purple, Designer de Better! is a very light bronze, and Warm & Fozzie is a cozy copper. The glitter shades were definitely made for the holiday party season. Rainbow Connection is as its name implies – pure rainbow glitter. Excuse Moi! is a deep, girly pink, while Gone Gonzo! is a fun, sparkly aqua. Fresh Frog of Bel Air is a pop of cheery green, Divine Swine is magenta with silver shimmer, and Gettin’ Miss Piggy With It! is a fun red. These lacquers will go great with your festive outfits this holiday season, and give you a dose of childhood nostalgia to boot. They’re limited edition however, so make sure you grab some once they come out in stores in November.
