Fashion Extra: Penelope Cruz at Cannes

Penelope Cruz was simply smashing at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival. The actress made perfect fashion choices at her appearances for the movie, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.

For the photocall, she opted for a very straightforward, blue Stella McCartney dress. It had a velvet bottom with the top done in a lighter shade, but it hugged her slim figure in the most flattering way. She kept the look minimal with just a matching pair of Casadei pumps and barely there jewelry, allowing the spotlight to be on her amazingly slim post-baby body!

For the premiere, she amped it up even more with a dramatic Marchesa gown. It was a sheer number, with shimmery, peek-a-boo, see-through panels. A dress like that was guaranteed to capture the attention on the red carpet, and Penelope did it so effortlessly.
