If you want to get noticed in the heat, you have to be electric. NARS got the right idea – the company has just released a sizzling hot summer makeup collection. The line is a mix of light, feminine shades with a hint of shimmer, and pure, brilliant, color. There are eyeshadow duos and trios, shadow and lip pencils, blush, lip gloss and lipsticks.

To get a look that’s undoubtedly summer, dust your cheeks with the delicate New Order Blush – a light pink shade with gold and silver shimmer. Then line your eyes with the subtle Exotic Dance Duo Eye Shadow (metallic white-silver and metallic gold) or subdued Dogon Duo Eye Shadow (metallic taupe-green, charcoal black). You can also keep it really simple with the Queen Soft Touch Shadow Pencil that’s a citrus gold glitter. Finish off with a slick of the shocking hot pink Carthage Pure Matte Lipstick. You can also go the other way and paint your eyes neon with the Cap Ferrat Trio Eye Shadow filled with icy, electric blues. Then, keep the rest of your face simple. Use the New Order Blush again, and then go with the sheer raspberry Mayflower lipstick plus the pink cantaloupe Bolero Velvet Matte Lip Pencil, or the sheer mandarin orange Wonder Lip Gloss. These looks will help you stand out in a sea of swimsuits, that’s for sure.
