Soda Book: Brian Lichtenberg for Forever 21 Tees and Tanks

Brian Lichtenberg for Forever 21 is out. The LA-based designer’s partnership with the retailer yielded feminine graphics such as flowers and lipstick, cut-outs, plus glitter and metallic prints all on pieces with basic silhouettes. There’s a tank top inspired by the police tape outfit that the designer made for Lady Gaga’s Telephone video, and a tee with dripping nail polish on it. Forever 21 suggests that you match them with distressed jeans, leather pants, bodycon skirts, and edgy shoes. Be warned though – all the pieces have Brian Lichtenberg’s name or initials on them. All the namedropping may or may not be your cup of tea, but if you’ve been looking for basic tees and tanks for casual, punk-rock-vibe days, you’ll find something to like in this collection.
