Fashion Extra: The Ladies of the White House Correspondents Dinner

The 2010 White House Correspondents Association dinner saw a mish-mash of dresses. The ladies all had different things in mind when it came to style, and they all showed up at the event in a wide variety of dresses.

Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon stayed true to their Sex and the City styles. Kristin wore a dainty white gown with a beaded top that made her look fresh and demure. Cynthia on the other hand, stuck to her minimalist style and went for an off-shoulder gray dress. Julianna Margulies brought life to the red carpet with her strapless purple gown. Rosario Dawson went for understated pretty – she wore a black gown with a sweetheart neckline and a long slit in the front. Jessica Simpson attempted to bring color to the event with a short, yellow dress. We only wish it was more flattering for her figure. Kim Kardashian looked a little lost at the event. We were expecting to see her usually sexy, curvy self, but her dress, with its odd, pointy top and strange slit on the bottom made her look quite stumpy. Scarlett Johansson’s pink Miu Miu dress seemed a bit messy in the cut, though we love her shoes, and Jessica Alba’s modest black gown with a peplum waistline gets our vote for most elegant of the night.
