Fashion Extra: Rihanna pulls off avant-garde as usual

Rihanna can pull off anything at this point. Known for her adventurous fashion choices, the singer showed up in a poufy, avant-garde Viktor & Rolf tulle dress at the Annual Pre-Grammy Gala by the Recording Academy and Clive Davis. This is a dress that won’t work with just anybody – it’s got overlapping elements in different tulle colors and textures, plus a voluminous shoulder. Still, Rihanna worked it. The dress corset gave her shape, and her brushed up hair matched the brushed up quality of the dress. Those things weren’t the reason why the outfit is a success though – it’s her attitude of course. Her confident smile and massive pop star personality let her get away with so many looks.
