Soda Shop: Urban Decay Alice in Wonderland Book of Shadows Palette

Growing up, I found Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland book a little creepy, and yet, somehow I couldn’t get myself to stop reading. It was a beautifully strange story, with characters that disturbed my imagination. It was a book that caused my insides to stir enough that I’d remember it forever.

Now, Tim Burton’s movie adaptation is on the horizon, and it seems like it will be just as beautifully strange as the book. To celebrate, Urban Decay thought up a very limited edition makeup palette called the Book of Shadows, made exclusively for the movie. If you’re an Alice in Wonderland fan, you’ll adore the 3D picture of Alice in the mushroom forest that pops up when you open the lid. If you’re simply a makeup fan however, you’ll love the 16 shades of eye shadow in it. Most of the colors are bright and cheery, while the rest are neutral shades that you can mix and match. The kit comes complete with a couple of mini eye pencils and an eye shadow primer potion.
