No one would’ve expected a Where The Wild Things Are clothing line, but in fashion, we’ve learned to expect the unexpected. Opening Ceremony actually came up with such a thing, in a surprising collaboration with the director of the upcoming movie, Spike Jonze. Where The Wild Things Are x Opening Ceremony is made up of furry pieces of course, but take note, it’s all faux. Perfect for the coming cold months, there are furry skirts, dresses, jackets and even onesies with ears and tails! The one that immediately caught our attention was the Judith Outdoor Vest. It’s reversible, with flat rosette faux fur on side and long-haired faux fur on the other, and its front folds look just amazing. The Alexander Mini Skirt is another must-have – it’s made of soft, textured rosette faux fur, with a black ribbon belt and an exposed gold zipper. This collection is a different and quite pricey, yet very fun take on fur. Sexy, warm, and inspired by the Where The Wild Things Are movie – what more can you ask for?
